type s rims on a tl-p

how much can i get the type s rims for, where can i look for em, and are they easy to put on?

depends on the condition and if tires come with it...in other words a very wide price range. you can find them on this site in the black market or on ebay all the time. if you can put a tire on you can do the same for these.

not sure about fitting the rims, but i know a good (new) pair will cost like $500 or $600....chome, $900. these are ebay prices. -shawn

don't the tl-s rims fit perfectly on tl-p's?

I had wanted to know this for my 01 tl-p

When I was looking for TL-s rims last year there were many out there but its difficult to tell the quality from pics. I opted to go directly to Acura and get new ones. Try calling around to some dealerships. I was able to get mine at wholesale price...they don't like to keep stuff in stock ....

And yes they will fit... be carful in picking your tire size and you wont have any poblems. check out my album to see if you like the look....

tl-s rims are 17s (tl-p are only 16s)

The rim size doesn't matter because the 17s have low profile tires, while the 16s do not. So they are basically the same overall size (Rims+tires).

yeah, i know. i'm just telling him technically it won't "fit" with OEM TL-P tires, gotta get new tires, that's all. thx for clearing it up tho.

yeh bro I know they are 17's, that's why I wanted to get them. I want the better tires too

I paid just under $300 Canadian each so i guess that like $220 U.S
