Given how touchy the trannies are on these babies, I'm wondering if I should go with the generic advice of no more than 0.04" difference in tread depth for tires on the same axle, or if I should buy another new tire at $150 to match the replacement I just bought.

Any suggestions?

 

I wouldnt worry so much about tread depth as i would that the tire is the same size (ie 205/60/16 etc...)
