Tokico Blue HP / H&R springs - What else to i need to get, if anything?

Hey guys. I have a 2002 TL-S. And it's time to drop it a bit. I have been reading posts here for hours, and there are a bazillion on different opinions of what combos to get and why. I have already done all of my research on that and have decided on Tokico Blue HP / H&R sport springs. My question is this, - What else do i need to buy for this job to be done right??? I do not plan on doing this work myself, I do not have the time, or technical expertise, however when i do take my car in, i want to make sure i have everything i need and not find out later that i need more "parts".....

After you have the install completed please make sure to get an alignment! Many people will say let the springs settle and what not and wait a little bit, so regardless if you wait or not please make sure to get that done to save yourself headache and worn tires.

I'm glad you asked this question! I have been contemplating the same set-up.

gettting a alignment wont have anything to do with chamber. you will need a chamber kit for that. the only thing they will do with a alignment is toe really i think

not true if you have a camber kit. if you dont tell them you have a camber kit then yes all they will do is toe because that is the only adjustment for the alignment on the car. best way to see what they did is to have them print out the specs of before the alignment and after.

If I recall correctly, you might require a camber kit since the car might sit lower than the OEM toe kit will allow you to adjust.

Secondly, wait a couple of weeks before doing an alignment. It takes a couple of weeks for the new springs to settle in their final position.

Good luck -- the suspension combo you have mentioned is a good value (based upon the feedback of others that I have read over the years ...)

Is a camber kit required witha mild drop like the setup described with H&R Sprot springs and Tokico Blue HP shocks? what about new bushings or anything else like that?

^^most times, no. You need to get your alignment checked though to be sure. Im dropped on eibach pros (Accord V6) and everything was fine. Camber is borderline. The most important alignment measure is toe. Toe being out of adjustment can wear out tires quickly. Camber will as well, but takes much longer (unless youre tucked like some ppl on here.)

I had the same set on my first CL-S.

I did not need a camber kit but just barely. Good luck!
