Firmer. Sit in one and you'll know what I'm talking about. Much less of a bouncy feel in the Type-S. Worth the upgrade? Depends on what you want ... performance or luxury?

Its hard to say how much though, I mean its a combo of all the different parts to give the different ride. All I know is my friends stock 01 CLS rides MUCH rougher than my '99TL with the lower Comptech springs - after riding in that, I was glad I had a TLP because I couldnt handle that all the time in a "luxury" car.

The springs might be the same (don't quote me). But I think the firmer ride from the type-s is probably from the thicker sways(mainly the rear sway) (I compared type-s sways to a 2dr '01 accord) and the bigger wheels with slightly less rubber.
