TL-S Wheels, Enkei R6 or OZ Record

Anyone know where to buy type S wheels? Also, does anyone know if the CL-S wheels are the same as the TL-S (they seem to be identical)? I'm either looking to get a set of type S wheels/tires for a good deal or maybe 18" Enkei R6 rims or the 18" OZ Record rims. Any good places to get these rims from or does anyone have these rims so I can get a better visualization of how my car would look. Any pics or suggestions would be appreciated.

I didn't realize that Enkei makes the type s rims...I was interested in pics w/ someone that has either the Enkei R6 rims or the OZ Record rims on their car.

You know what....take back what I said

I have had my RJ Inspyres too long I am tripping.....the CL-S wheel is smooth while the TL-s had a slight lip.

So bascially opposite of what I said earlier..also BTW I read a thread about this with detailed pics from a craigslist ad a while back,I did a quick search but could not find it.
Maybe you will have better luck.......hope that helps

Okay, I figured that I'll probably just buy some 18" aftermarket rims rather than spend money on type S rims. I did have some general questions though regarding this. Is there a real noticeable difference in the smoothness of the ride?

In looking at a buncha of different rims, the ones that have caught my eye are the: ASA JH8 18" chrome plated, Kazera KZ-A Dual PCD 18" chrome plated, Enkei R6 18", or OZ Racing Record 18" matte graphite silver. I haven't really heard anything about the ASA or Kazera brands though & I'm still not quite sure if I want the chrome plated style or not. Let me know what you're opinion is about any of this.

I'd also like to know about good places to get a rim/tire package at.

Okay, I really do like the look of the Enkei LM1/5S 18" Chrome rims. I just took a look a some tire options, but I haven't really done much research yet. The ones that I've been looking at are:
BFGoodrich g-Force KDW2
Nitto NT555 Extreme
Yokohama AVS ES100
Toyo Proxes 4

If none of these are that great, then I guess I can spend more for:
Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position S-03
Michelin Pilot Sport
Pirelli Pzero Rosso Asimmetrico

I have the 18" OZ records on my 2002 TL, and I am lowered with comptech springs

It looks great, but the rims barely fit.. I had to do alot of trimming on the plastic part of the rear fender, and the front rubs slightly when I go over a big bump with the wheel turned..

peace..

I guess I'd be able to still fit the 18" rims since my car isn't lowered, right? Would it look okay if I don't lower it though?

Yeah, If you dont lower it, and you put 18"+ rims on the car, it will look crappy... Even 17" without lowering doesnt look that great...

I was looking at some 17" rims that come w/ Toyo Proxes 4 that are size 215/45R17. Does anybody know if this tires will be okay to put on? I'm thinking that this should be fine, but I'm not 100% sure since discounttire.com doesn't show this size, they show 215/50R17, 225/50R17 & 235/45R17 as the plus one sizes for a '00 TL.
