Tire recommendation for 2002 TL

Hello All,

I am ready to change the tires for my 2002 TL and need recommendations from you experienced people out there.

The size of OEM is P205/60R16. Please suggest some good tires that are quiet, good traction in wet, snow and summer driving (looking for all-season tires). I read few messages in this forum and understand that Bridgestone Turanza LS-V are pretty good. I don't think I want to go ahead with the OEM Michelin MXV4 Plus again. I really like the Michelin HydroEgde but size P205/60R16 is not available. Elsewhere on this forum I read that alternate size P225/55R16 can be used and they are wider so have better grip. Michelin HydroEdge are not available in this size either. Can anyone suggest what HydroEdge size can be used for 2002 TL?

Please suggest if there is another alternate size that can be used. Tires suggested for good year round grip and are quiet.

Please note that I live in Toronto where the temperature is freezing for few months in a year and also a lot of snow.

Appreciate all responses.

Vivek

I have the Turanza LS-H tires- they were ~ $100 ea. from the Tire Rack. I've been using them for ~ 15K miles and are very pleased with the comfort and quietness of them. I dont think the tread pattern is different than the LS-V, just a different speed rating.
