Thinking about painting my wheels black

I just got new tires yesterday and went a little bigger to take away some of the wheel gap but im thinking of painting my wheels black just for a new look in the summer, i just dont know if it would look good with the dark green and chrome trim. Any suggestions?

umm what sized tire did you get?
by raising the sidewall; you can throw off your speedometer.

Also, black wheels died in 1999.
Big and Rob Murdered/killed them

ESPECIALLY if you have a stock looking car.
and green.

If you really really really want to try it; go to home depot or lowes and pick up a can of plastidip.
plastidip is amazing because you can just peel it off if you dont like it.

^yaeh, you can paint the rims in any color you want!
personally; i dont think they would look good, especially with the color of your car.
keep them silver.

I know its hard; but save up some money for some real rims.

Yeah, with the green ...,,the stock rims look best as is.
You could try detailing the cutout openings with a dark charcoal to help accent the spokes.

If you want to get rid of the gap, lower the car. Not get a larger sidewall tire. And to be honest, 225/50 is only a .2" taller than stock, so its not like you really gained much

I have a 2003 TL-S and mine is the charcoal grey color. i blacked out my wheels and all the chrome trim on my car. i think it looks great. idk about your car because it is green but i think black wheels look great on just about any color. i would go for it.

If it was me personally I would just buy new wheels chrome or black if that's the way you want your car to look. I think painting wheels is just a cheep way for getting a more custom look. Again that's me personally. You do what ever you want.
