Tein SS coilovers..
My perch's (rings) are stuck.. the rears are likely literally stuck i cannot move it regardless of how much force i put.. is there anything i can use to loosen it up? and whats the correct way of lowering it? lower the bottom ring first, and then the top one to where the bottom one is and tighten, right? because that's how i've been doing it all along.

agree the threads must be clean, and lubed helps
The lower nut is the lock nut- that holds everything where you set it
If you jack on side of the car its easy-

are you using the 2 special wrenches correctly?
You can generate a lot of force against each other - just be sure which way you are pulling on the lower nut

use a floor jack under the axle hub to lift the load off the shock slightly
All this shoul be in the owner instructions on adjustment with pics and description and most important!!!!! the lowest allowable height - just because there are threads does not mean its useable area

OMG and they still work?!
Check out azinr vendor mrheeltoe www.heeltoeauto.com he has all the specs for each car/shock combo and what heights you can do listed on the shock pages
On average for a TL- gen 3 goes farther- gen2 about 2.5 inch drop from stock is max
There is a measurement taken from a fixed point up to the spring perch- mucty be xxxxx inches
Ziners have run lower but you stress the shock- it has a design operating area of motion

To RAISE the car you will need a spring compressor to reduce the length of the spring within its mounts--to reduce its pressure on the perch and lock nuts
Then it should spin up to whatever you need

if your rings are still stuck, remove the entire shock/spring from your car. borrow spring compressors from autozone, clamp the springs to take pressure off the rings. unload a can of crud remover on it and loosen em suckers

And I have never had to use a spring compressor to raise it. As long as the wheel is off the ground, you can just use the provided wrenches.

Im only repeating what MrHeelToe, azine Tein Guru, says on how to adjust them
when raising the car
Compressing the spring unloads the weight and makes it much easier on the threads, which were not designed to carry load like that.
The lower nut is the lock nut- for those still adjusting
