Tein SS Coilovers

How do you adjust the ride height on the tein ss coilovers because Im buying a 2002 TL-S and it already has them but the way its dropped i wouldnt be able to get up my drive way

shouldn't u have a wrench that comes with the coilover?

yup but how do u do it, where is the thing that has to be adjusted located

It is located under the springs themselves. It will be 2 rings that are locked together. You will probably need a spring compressor to properly adjust them, as well as some equipment to wash the things off. When I bought my Tein's used, they were filled with so much dirt that they would not move at all until i cleaned them out.

Make sure to clean out all the dirts/sands on the threads around the rings first before attempting to loosen those 2 rings. Once the ring got stuck with sand particles, it is VERY HARD to move and loosen again. Move both rings up to raise the car up.

dont kno how to raise.. only go lower..lol. fix ur driveway not the coilovers haha

lol i didn't post this thread in the 1g forums, it was in the main 2gen forum... sorry about not posting it in the tire/wheel/suspension forum but I really needed an answer quick since I'm picking the car up tomorrow..

but to everyone who helped thanks. and btw, I'm lowering the car again once I get the edfc controller..i'll just raise it to go up my driveway, then sit it back down.
