Tein SS Coilover vs Tokico Illumina

How soft is the softest setting? Stock? Near stock?
Which one is better in term of providing a near-stock ride quality?

For the Tokico, I'm thinking of either pairing it with H&R OE or Tein Luxury Master H Springs.

Instead of starting a new thread I'll just continue this one? Could anyone comment on the comparison between the TOKICO Illumina (w/ HR Sport) and Tein (SS)??? I'm trying to decide which one to get. I's probably better to go w/ Tein but is it worth the cost difference? Tokico makes a very good strut and it's adjustable.

thoughts.

Nice to know but I really don't dig too slammed vehicles. Lose the sport/luxury look by far. Anyway, for one who wants to drop it about H&R Sport low, with some comfort, good handling, minimal nose dipping (during braking) and cost.

Both Tein and Tokico (or Koni, after more reading, think they're better)are adjustable as far as damping. Don't really care about adjusting my height since I'm cool w/ the H&R Sport drop.

With that said, what's ur thoughts? It's very difficult for me to judge just based on readings here and there. I would love to be able to drive both types of suspensions for a few minutes and make my own judgement, but that luxury/convenience isn't there.

Well since your not going to be doing any adjustments to your suspension, it would make better sense to go with the Tokicos. I'm in the same position as you. I have a brand new set of H&R sports 51858 for my 99 TL-p. I dont know if I want to sell them or install them, all I need is a new set of struts which I would go with with tokico illuminas or Koni sports. Then I'm saying to myself that I would rather get Coilovers, but I don't think I would adjust them once I have the perfect drop I'm looking for.
