Tein Basic Question

i am getting coilovers for my 02 TLS and i was wondering with the Tein Basic system....will the ride be softer than stock or will it be the same or will it be stiffer than stock..

i did some searches and didn't find that much, i found that some people say the basic rides like 8 and it's to soft

what about the SS

I wants to get these coil overs but i want the ride to be better and a little more stiff than stock.

thanks guysss

happy holidays

basics = you can only control ride height and not dampening

therefore the ride quality is questionable. i'm sure it's still ok since many people have it.

I've had my Tein Basics for about a year now, and to tell you the truth.. the ride is incredible. I have it lowered to its max and it rides very smooth but not like the stock height of course. So in my opinion, its basically what your looking for. Smooth ride but a little stiffer than stock

The Basics are firmer than stock, but not stiff. They have a sporty feeling. The stock is more plush, soft. These are firmer than stock but not bouncy. It is a great street setup. You will not need to replace your strut tower.

ksport, omni power, d2, megan, and i'm missing some i'm sure...but all of those can go pretty low because they all come with dual perches meaning you can lower the car by actually adjusting the height of the coilover instead of just compressing/releasing the spring like the teins. good luck!

damn i dont know if you should go any lower. Well it really depends how the roads are where you live. If you have smooth roads where theres not much traffic that messes up the streets then that should be ok.
