summer wheels off, winters on, found issues, what to do?

o i took the summers off today and put on the winters, so its a sad day, but also fun at the same time lol

so anyways, almost the entire time i had my summers on, i had a slight wobble on the right front and it pulled to the right. i thought, well its lowered, different offset, maybe it needs an alignment....i put my winters on and it drives perfectly straight, no wobbles.

i never did an alignment. either way, i take my wheels off today, check the one wheel and its got an ever so slight bend in it...there is my wobble issue(i think).

look a little further, no weights on it anymore? wtf? there is my pulling issue(i think). now all of my tires were brand new this summer, the rears are perfect still, but both fronts are bald on both the inside and outside...

for all of these issues, what do you guys think is up and what is my next recourse? get the wheel rebalanced, possibly even straightened out( how much would that cost?) and get 2 new tires for next season and you guys think ill be good, or any other advice?

On another note, since I need new tires in the front, I was thinking that I should go smaller so I can go lower, I was thinking 2115/35/18. Any issues going that small on 18x8 and 18x9?

Brand new summer tires balding on sides, wobbling and balancing off......?

Optimizing tire wear associated with lowered suspension requires a specialized alignment along with regular tire rotation. It's even more important with aggressive driving habits.

Depending on the kind of roads that you travel, lower profile tires will take a toll on the sides wearing, along with potential rim damage.

ya, i know all of that, but if it was an alignment i need, it would be doing the same thing with my stock wheels and it isnt. so its either that i need a camber kit and a balance or something else.

any other suggestions?

well for one summer tires arent going to be as forgiving to a bad alignment as soft sidewall deeper tread snows. Check your tierod ends to see if there is play in them, have an alignment done or checked and also have your shocks inspected. Also tire wear on both sides is usually caused by under inflation

well i have coilovers on my car, they are fine. im running stretched tires 215/40/18, i always ran them at about 32 psi, should they be higher when theyre stretched?

ill have an alignment done when i get the wheels and tires balanced nexxt spring.

Considering you are running stretched id say yes, run more pressure. 32 is to low even for stock tires IMHO.

Oh, and just because you have coilovers doesnt mean they are fine. Did you physically inspect them for leaking or push on the front to see what kind of rebound they have?

32? I'm running as close to 40 as I can get and I'm not even that stretched. 225 on a 9" and 255 on a 10".

I've already had one tire's sidewall burst on me because of low pressure.

I think you're going to have rubbing issues with 2115/35/18, possibly rubbing on each other! I haven't heard of anyone within 1850 mm of that size.
