My rear struts need to be replaced. Can someone suggest struts to buy, that will provide me with a comfortable ride. Also is this a job I can do myself? I am tired of paying mechanics for work they don't do well.

 

Tokico Illumina. You can do it if you have a spring compressor.

If you were planning on getting lowering springs, this would be a good time to do so as you would save on installation.

P.S. I would change your front struts while you are at it.

Many auto parts stores will rent or loan you the spring compressors....
