Spring advice please

First of all I realize that there are many threads here regarding various suspension setups. However, I'm still not sure what I should do. ( I'm a little indecisive )

Here's what I'm looking for.

1) Subtle drop. NOT "slammed" just don't like the huge fender gap, especially in the front. Maybe 1" to 1.5" front and 1" back???

2) No big desire to change the ride. Could be a bit firmer but it's my wife's car too....

3) Worried about rear "sag".

4) Price. Can't afford shocks, camber kits, etc. Basically, I'm broke

Any advice would be appreciated!

Eibach pro kit is what I just did this weekend honestly love the way it sits, everything is even and was reasonably priced. The ride did not change much if any.

Thanks for the quick responses,

The Tein HTECHS look good. Perfect amount of drop for me. Do I need to worry about any camber issues? Also, anyone know if I can find these in Canada?

no issues with camber with any of those unless you go 2" drop or more

you'll just shorten the life of your shocks and slowly your ride quality goes :thumbsdow

Oh... that's not good. I don't understand how it would affect the shocks but if you guys say so I will believe you!

I didn't believe it either, having lowered other honda stuff in the past, but mine went out within weeks. KYB or tokico basic struts are reasonably priced and work as well as stock or a little better. If money's tight, paying labor to do the job twice isn't smart.

So is it the stiffer spring rate that hurts the shocks? The slightly lower height shouldn't make a difference to the shocks..... right?

Hmm ok, just to be clear, you feel this will be a problem even with a "smallish" drop of 1" to 1.5"? How about with the H&R OE's? ( although not sure that .5" drop is worth the hassle anyway )

Thanks for the advice on this!!
