Is it ok to use? My first opinion is no but I have no experience with cracked springs and was wondering if anyone has had experience with using a cracked spring? Please help.

No. Others have had the same problem with the comptech's. My understanding is that the new revised comptech springs are eibach's with the comptech name on them.

I would not want to find out nor would I consider using it. Call comptech and see if they will warranty it out for you.

 

hey nsxinsac, looks like you bought comtechs? i wouldn't trust those damaged springs...its a TL ..u gotta treat it with respect haha, furnish with good quality stuff my man, don't do it

They outsourced for powdercoating, and I guess it went wrong. It eventually peels off, and it starts rusting. Then the coils split/crack/collapse.

Contact Comptech and see what they say. I've heard of cases where they helped people out with their broken CT springs.
