what are they for and what purpose do they serve ??

they basically just bump your wheels further to the outside of the car. it helps get the wheels flush with the fenders, a look which a lot of people like..

i run 5mm spacers up front because my wheels wouldnt clear the caliper with new pads. i would not go over 5mm though, spacers are very bad for bearings and knuckles

wow ok---yea i just never knew what they were for---i mean obviously the name SPACER means space ya know--- and i knew it pushed yer wheels out---i just didnt know why sum people used them
