Sorry it took so long...Pics of rims.

Here are the pics of the new rims. The pics that I was suppose to put up weeks ago, but was too busy to do...The pics also contain my custom made "gutter guard" grille. I mounted it on the outside after I spray painted it with some color coded SSM and you can also see my hand painted red calipers.

I know I need a drop so don't post by saying "slam it" "drop her" "lower it" "lower her" "get a drop" or anything in relation to springs of any sort. I know I do. I don't have any money. I don't know about you guys but "new rim/wheel" threads are getting kinda blahh now cuz you look at the pics of the guys nice rims in the first post and then the next 10-20 posts are about how much the ride needs to sit 2 or so inches lower and the following posts are about guys agreeing with the other "drop it" posters. Haha I'm tired of hearing "drop it"...so just drop it! LOL
Anyways...

O and sorry about some of the pics. They are kinda fuzzy. My digital is currently broken. And don't mind the dirtiness of the tires. It was a gravel road. I'd get out that expensive Canon that my dad has and take some nicer pics, but by then I'll probably be getting a 02-03 TL-S or a TSX so it would be just a throw-away to get them developed.

18" Voxx Monzas - Kumho Ecsta SPTs 225/45-18

You guys were right about the Konigs. They were nice rims, but not for the car. These look alot nicer and I'm definitly not changing my mind about these ones. They look better in person. Let me know what you think.

I dont like how the tires (45 profile) look too thick for those 18" rims especially with a lip. But nice rims though.

I think you having dirt on the tires is creating an optical illusion that the tires are almost stock in sidewall - obviously they aren't.

I'm actually looking to get a similar set of wheels, just all black, not silver hub section.

Yeah, I think the dirt on tires doesn't help too much, but the scenery there was really necessary for a few shots. I'll snap some more later on when I get more time. Thanks for the comments guys.

yea I'm not feeling it either but I personally don't like the look of black rims. But to each his own and if you like them then that is all that matters right?

Looks a HELL of a lot better than before. Maybe the tires wouldnt look so big if it was lowered.

Yeah, I figured the same thing, because the tires aren't that wide at all. The chrome lip also kind of sets a boundary for how big the rim looks to. Most black rims don't have such a noticeable lip and the rim seems to extend as almost part of the tire. But yeah I'm happy with it and if I feel like spending more money I could drop it.

The Kumho Ecsta SPTs were $110 a piece. They ride great and handling is superb. Once I get a drop I will look into getting 235s instead of these 225 (Increased width and smaller side wall). The sidewall of the tires is only minimally noticeable when you compare it closely to other high performance tires, so if I get a drop I could keep the same setup and it would still look good.

I think you should "slam it" "drop her" "lower it" "lower her" "get a drop" or something of the sort.

Looks ok, but suspension will improve the situation
