Shocks & Struts??
Hey guys so i have an 03 TL 108K. I am noticing when I drive the wheel is vibrating on a normal drive (not when I brake). I just replace all 4 tires 4 brakes 4 rotors and timing belt water pump tensioner. When I took it to the shop they told me it was cuz of the shocks and struts and I would need to replace them.
What do u guys think??? And if I end up replacing them, are there any good brands to go with? I wanna keep the car but i also have a budget as well lol
Thanks for the help!

If the vibrations are not due poor tire wear or improperly installed brakes maybe all you need is an alignment...vibrations in the steering wheel will not be a result of blown struts.

I'm no shock/spring expert but it really depends on your budget and what you want to do with your car.
If you want to lower, you can get a coilover set for $700-1000 or new brand name struts and springs for around $500 or more. Or you can go on the black market and find some used ones for a lot cheaper.

if your shocks are blown, your car would bounce.
Have you checked axles/joints/etc etc??
Have you tried checking your wheels? The weights could be off?.. assuming they didn't balance your wheels when mounting those 4 new tires.. which would suck. haha
