Rims poking out

Hey guys I already searched and came up with the conclusion that the right offset for my rims would be 48 for 18x8 with 225/40/18. However I got such a good deal on a set of Ace's in chrome with new es100 222/40/18 however the offset is 45. I put it on and it pokes out a little. I plan on dropping it on H&R sports so I was wondering if once i drop it will the camber created make it not poke out anymore. Cuz right now it looks like it has positive camber. Am I screwed with this 45 offset or could it be ok with a drop? thanks

you wont get enough camber to get it in. +45 is pushing it, it will most likely rub once lowered with that offset and width. Offset is the most critical thing for our cars when looking for rims so that they wont rub or stick out

hey man, i think you will be ok..i ran 18 by 8.5 with a 45 ot with a 225 40 18 tire, and no rubbing...once you drop, the wheel tucks in...the thing thats real nice is that is doesnt look corny like a stock rim...it fills the fender very nicely..and the tuck looks sweet..

Yeah but njz, the reason it's tucking is because the camber is waaaay off. Be prepared to go through tires like mad.
