Rims don't quite fit
alright I just tried on some
OZ Racing Ultraleggera 18" x 8" Offset: 48et
the wheels are
Continental - ContiExtremeContact
Tread: 80%
P245/45 ZR 18inch 96W
And i couldn't get them on, the lug bolts didn't go out far enough for the lugs to get on, and on top of that, i'm not sure if they will rub. I just put in some H&R sports last night, if that helps.
-What can I do to make them get on?
-Are they going to rub?
thanks

with those tires they might rub..those tires are too wide..and too tall..u need a 225 or 235 40..im on a 18x8.5 43 offset..and i just added 8mm spacers in the rear..so that would put it around a 35 offset in the rear and i have the slightest rubbing..barely noticable,,nothing rolled or trimmed yet either on my car..and im dropped..as far as the lugs you might need extended studs if you want to run those wheels..idk

What do you mean the lug bolts dont go out far enough to get the lugs on?

if it wasn't 5x114.3 would it even fit onto the wheel area? cuz it got on, just wouldn't get bolted in because the bolts didn't make it through the rim

You are using thin wall lug nuts correct? Tuner Nuts or something that is thinner than the stock lug nuts? Most aftermarket wheels that I know of will not accommodate the factory lug nuts. My apologies if I am stating something you know.
Longer studs will help too. ^ lol what jjashaa said.

^ yea. might need tuner lugs like what the person who stole my coilovers said.. jk jk jk..
does your lugs sit evenly in the holes? might wanna check that too..
maybe take a picture of what you're talkin about... i kno its a hassle but sometimes... words just don't cut it.. haha

Check and see if there is a plastic ring on the inside of the rim where the hub should meet the inner part of the rim. There might be a hub ring there that in too big, if you bought used rims.

is the rim sitting flat against the hub? that tire is waaaay to high for sure. like other peple said 225 or 235/40/18 is about as big as u wanna go. that width and offset would work just fine though. also make sure theres no centering ring on the back like other have suggested. Alot of times people forget to remove hubcentric rings and then the rims seem like they wont fit correctly.
best of luck. Aand post pics if u need more help or its unclear. its probably a really small problem

if i wanted to make those rims work i would need to buy new tires, and i just don't have the money for that set-up for now.. i would need longer studs and thinner lug nuts too, just adding to the cost for what i can't afford for now. although i think the guy may be giving me tuner lugs, the tire problem is the biggest one and is probably gunna make it so i can't buy this set.. ugh, back to looking for a set of moderately priced 18"s
