Replacing Endlinks and Sway Bar Bushings 2G Tl
So today I tore my cat down to replace the sway bar bushings and endlinks. But I came into a problem. On the LCA there is not enough room to get a wrench in there with the allan wrench to break the nut off. Is there a special tool needed to do this job? Really trying to get this fixed while the weather is cool here in Texas.
If your wondering. The LCA is con caved so I wrench wont turn without hitting the lca.

Hit it (the end link) with a hammer or take a breaker bar and pop it out of the socket. Then grab with a vicegrips and remove the nut.
And why did you remove remove the cat to do this?

I backed the nut off till the end link started to spin. Then took a cut off wheel to the back of the end link. Cut clean threw it. Now I installed my Moog end links and have NO more popping noise from my front end.

Most better brand aftermarket parts are as good as OEM.
If ya want OEM, check for used parts and save some money.

This was helpful information guys. I really was planning on buying aftermarket. I already know buying a OEM bar will save some cash. But here is another question. Will I be using 2g end links or 3g end links? Like to install it the right way the 1st time around and get all the correct parts.

^^ Buy MOOG or MEVOTECH they make stiffer endlinks way better then OEM.. Beck Arnley and the other options are direct OEM copy so its NO GO! you want the stiffer design.
