Ravespeed Springs

Ok, so I thought I would be brave and order me a set of Ravespeed springs for my 99 TL. (SOMEONE HAS TO TRY THEM) So first of all I have the stock 16"s with a low profile 45 series tires. So you can imagine how big the gap was from the top of my tires to the wheel well.( A fist and 2 fingers to be exact) So I installed the Ravespeed Springs on my stock struts and now I have a perfect 3 finger gap all the way around. It couldnt sit any better. It doesnt look SLAMMED to the ground, but it looks damn good and low enough. And best of all it ALMOST rides identical to stock.......smooth as hell, no bouncing, and NO bottoming out. I can bounce my car up and down as hard as I could with two people and it doest come close to bottoming out. Also it handles A LOT better. I'll try to post a pick of my car later. The springs look exactly like TEIN. So all in all, I have no complaints so far, but as time goes by I'll keep it posted on the results.

i would recommend u change ur shocks and struts too cause they will most likely prematurely blow from the drop. if u want a cheap set get the KYB GR2 i have them in mine for about 40k miles no complaints

About 8-10 mph after 20mph. It sucks but I'll tell you what, with those small rims and tires the car moves out quicker.

i would've though you had a deathwish with those springs. i want to see someone install those $50sleeve coilover kits. Anyways if your car dropped so much then you should keep in mind some shocks

got pics??

hey do you have any pics? I'm thinking of getting these for this summer and upgrading to coilovers next summer because all the spring setups i see sag in the rear. I want the wheel gap to be even or a lil bigger in the back

hmmm the problem is i want a rake so that when i put my system in it wont drop in the back so i'm thinkin the comptech or eibach pro-kit would be a better choice for me.. H&R race would give me the rake but that would ride reallly harsh

I'm approximating 200lbs for the system but i know it will be lighter than that.. well i really hope so 2 12's 3 amps 1 cap and it will all be fiberglassed
