You're going to have to run 235/35/19... and as far as I've heard from other members in NY, you will be replacing rims every month because of potholes.

Nah, that will be off. 235/35/19 matches the overall diameter of 215/50/17 perfectly. Besides, on a 8.5" wide wheel, I would go with 235.

i dont really encouter any potholes cause i dont take the car into the city. but will i have to roll the fenders and cut the tabs in the back to fit the wheels in? and with ppl in the car lets say 4 will it still rub? im not gonna get them if there gonna rub with ppl in the car cause that'll just kill the tires. as for the tire i see where gettin mixed reviews anyone else got any input?

on a side note how much will a 19" wheel slow the car down accerleration wise cause i have i/h/p possibly soon the thermoblock spacer and dont really wanna lose take off power

Depends on the weight, because that will affect the rotating mass. Also keep in mind that even if they are light-weight wheels, the larger diameter will increase the inertia. I'm pretty sure that the Milanos weren't engineered to be light-weight wheels. So this will actually affect you in two negative ways -- increased weight, plus increased inertia.

And yes, with passengers in the rear, you will almost certainly rub.

I had wanted the Milanos for the longest time, but I had to face reality and give up. It just isn't a practical setup for everyone.

Done correctly they will work just fine. I've been running Milanos for just over a year now and after cutting the tabs and rolling the fenders, I've had no rub AT ALL.

another member has the milano's and he's using a 225/35/19 tire. supposedly he doesnt rub. if thats true, i imagine you definitely will rub with 235/35/19. YMMV.

also, i think axis stopped making that wheel and thye passed the mold onto some company named jaz or some shit. i think its called the jaz trinity now.

There's the key. Hell I could probably get 9" wide wheels to fit if I rolled the fenders.

So, bottom line, without any significant modification, they will not fit.

i wouldnt really call rolling the fenders significant... although it can become significant if you fuck it up.

I know your attitude towards modding to make wheels fit but the man asked if he would have to role the fenders. The answer is yes he would.

ok how about the TSW Catalunya wheels they come in 18x7 and 18x8 i think the highest offset is +42. now they would fit with no prob? and they would probably be better for performance wise too
