put on Yohohama AS430 225/50/17

Just got them put on today at NTB - a little over $600 for all 4 mounted/ballanced and with roadhazard. They had a buy 3 get 1 free. I had the stock Michelin tires off the TSX - those lasted barely 30k miles and I rotated them every 7k miles. They had less than 2 32nds of tread left also. I never thought those tires were very good even when I got them new. They have always been very loud and with less than optimal grip - even in casual driving.

It is like night and day now with the new tires. First thing I noticed was the noise...or lack thereof. these are MUCH more quiet than the Michelins. The ride is much smoother also, and of course the grip is better. Im sure it would be much better considering the condition of the Michelins when I replaced them, but still I think these are great replacement tires for our car. Originally I was going to get the Yohohama avid V4S tires off Tirerack, but I went with these because of the sale and they seem to really be a very similar tire, and the NTB guy said he has seen quite a few tread separation issues with the Avid line...

All in all I am very happy with the purchase
