Problem with my 1999 TL suspension.

I own a 1999 Acura TL.

Due to a camber issue noticed during its last alignment it became necessary to replace parts so that the camber could be adjusted.

I picked up a pair of adjustable upper control arms/links for the rear and a pair of upper control arms with adjustable ball joints for the front.

My question/problem is with the fronts. It appears that the factory control arms attach to the chassis with a spherical ball joint.

However, the new control arms have a cylindrical ball joint. Now after everything is back together and aligned going over certain types of bumps in the road creates a knocking/banging in the suspension. I am under the impression that it is the cylindrical ball joints binding.

Will this cause any damage if they are left on the vehicle?

Click Here to view the front control arms I purchased.

Thank you in advance for your help.
