Possible sizes for TL S 17s

I know that 215/50/17 are stock - but what are my options to go larger WITHOUT making any mods to the car? Also at what size do I start to throw off my speedo?

I have searched old posts have have seen many different opinions on the topic.

The snow is finally melting here, I need a new set of summers.
I run on Stock 16 rims - Michies Arctic Alpine Sports - I drive it instead of my 4Runner until the snow is up to the pan! That combo works that well!!!

I got this link from another member for your speedo question. I can't help you on the size though.

Here are your best options. Since you aren't lowered, you could fit a 235 tire, but I don't know if it is safe or even beneficial to use a 235 tire on a 6.5" rim. The general rule of thumb is to stay within 3% speedometer difference.
