porosity on refinished aluminum wheel?

Hi All, I got one of my 03 TL Type S wheel refinished and noticed quite a few (about 8) dimples. I spoke with the sales person (not the refinisher) and he thinks is due to the aluminum porosity and that when they cut it with the machine, the porosity within the aluminum is displayed. Can that be even possible? The dimples are so obvious. It's like someone put a nail on several locations on the wheel and hammer on the nail. The sales person will be discussing this with the refinisher next week. Any help is greatly appreciated

Hi All, here are the photos taken (total 8 different locations) after the wheels refinished. Any ideas whether it could be the clear coat and can be repaired or it's the actual cutting machine that caused the damage?

I'm really really not very happy especially if it's the cutting machine that cause it which means that this wheel is pretty much toast (since there's only so much the wheel can be cut). Thanks.

Did your wheels have any deep pitting or stone chips? That would be my first guess. I've never seen a refinished wheel that looked like that.
