PICS!! 19x8 Honda Accord HFP Wheels are on!
Team Acurazine,
I finally got my brand new HFPs mounted and on the car. I think they look great and these are a total departure from my usual chrome wheel history. Just wanted to share the pics with you.
Brand: OEM Honda (the 19" option for the 2008 Honda Accords)
Size: 19x8
Offset: 55! Yes, I said 55 offset
Tires: General Exclaim UHP 235/35/19
Do They Rub: NO! But, the front tires are very close to the inside control arm suspension component but still has 1/8" to 1/4" of clearance. Been driving around all day and no sign of inner rub, more than enough rear clearance on outside and inside.
Center Cap: Came from my OEM Chrome 17" wheels, didn't use the Honda Emblem with matching color center cap, they are still in the packaging. I may figure out a way to get the "A" symbol and mount it on the matching center cap.
Here are the pics!

I did roll my fenders unnecessarily back in the day when I thought I was rubbing on the metal portion of the fender, not the urethane area where the mudflap attaches to.

Man that looks good. I love the color of your new rims, my friend has the hpf 18s that are the same color on her civic.
It'll be nice to see pics after the color match for the center cap

thanks guys, I know our cars are really nice Honda's, but do you think it would look stupid to use the "H" logos on the matching center cap on the wheels or should I get creative and get the "A" logo onto the color matched cap that came with the wheels? I am not planning on swapping out my other "A" badges on the car, so I am trying to decide. the center caps blend in depending on the light and the angles as you can see in the pics. I do think the spokes will flow better with the matching cap but the chrome look cap does kinda match up with window trim, lugs and door handles, etc..chime in with your thoughts..thx

damn i might have to go with these next summer. I've been wanting to do 19's but worry to much about the crappy roads in RI and MA to get them, since the lip on one of my 18's already bent a little due to the roads. But oem is usually stronger, and these would look good on my NBP.. NICE Find!!! How much did they set u back if u don't mind me askin?

Get em! Yeah, wheels were just under $1300 from local dealership and tires ran about $700 with mounting/balancing and lifetime replacement certificates from Discount Tire. These wheels are supposed to be lightweight (25lbs), about the same as my stock 17s and they are supposed to be a little stronger than stock.

Just did a 110 mile round trip road trip to the outlet shops in Dawsonville, GA and the ride on these wheels/tires was very nice. The tires are quiet (for 19's anyway) and the biggest difference between these tires and my old Falken Azenis I had on my old 19" wheels, is that the Generals definitely do not have as stiff of a sidewall as the Falkens. These Generals are listed as M+S (all season) on the sidewall and when I make swerves or turn very hard, I can feel the softness of the sidewalls. I actually prefer this because it makes the ride softer all around. I am always on the hunt for potholes anyway, but this is the life for us with 19's so I am used to it already.

^ ^ LOL!!! I am not gonna lie, I am not a picture taker! next time we have an ATL meet, the guys have some high end cameras and maybe they can help me get some more serious pics..not being biased at all, but these look even better in person. I reduced the size of the images so that is why the low quality. some guys I know saw the car and they are hard core chrome lovin folks, and they really like them on my car. I'm glad I got these, perhaps others will scoop a set up also. so far so good..hard bumps and no front inner rubbing..I think I may be the guinea pig for these wheels but they do work and fitment is perfect for the 2nd Gen IMO

^^^Hey man, if I come out of Atlantic Station one night and I'm sittin on blocks, I'll be lookin for you lol!! j/k man! Get em!!!!! I mean, your own set, lol.
For you GA folks, I got the hookup at the Honda dealership to get these much cheaper than list. PM me if you need the info. Also, ebay has them for the same price but I wanted to see them in person first and got lucky to find a cool guy working in parts at the dealership who matched the honda dealership price on ebay..and a little bit more off from that..very nice.
