Painting Rims?

What is good for painting rims.. (NEVERMIND, I FOUND THE POST)

I'm thinking of painting these rims black on a charcoal grey TL.

Would they look good black? And has anybody done this before?

They dont have a glossy black but what other rim paint can give me a glossy black ? I want the same glossy black that when you buy black rims that are powdercoated.

Duplicolor sells the wheel coating in satin black-when you apply the clear after painting them black it will be glossy.

The "A" youre talking about is in the center cap. Search around for new center caps..

eh not very luxurious. more like a luxurious looking version of the accord... but isn't luxurious by itself. it uses faux leather on places you don't touch, like the back of the front seats... sneaky bastards... and the leather isn't that great. the doors close like other hondas... and you get a lot of wind noise at high speeds. the car definitely doesn't feel like it's built as strong as a merc... even though those are a lot more expensive than acura's comparing the same class of cars.

oh and painting oem rims?... eh, no me gusta.

Thats so annoying, is there a fix for this ? I always thought that it was just my car and not others.

sell it and buy a lexus? lol but everyone gets some level of wind noise at high speeds, maybe you need a new weatherstrip? either way you'll probably hear it.

dont worry phee...Im ghetto as well.

eddystone: depending on severity, that sandpaper will probably work. I had a few spots that I had to hit with my grinder, and then sand after.
