Hey guys, so I have these 2 sets of wheels and want opinions. They both have bad tires, so either set I need to replace all 4. For both sets, I can get some cheap tires from Firestone for like $315 out the door. Which set looks better on my ride. Some 02/03 Type S wheels, or some 3rd gen wheels that I have that are painted grey. I want to replace the 4 tires on one set and sell the other. Opinions? Thanks guys

Cant Go with Aftermarket? Everyone else is using OEM why would you want to be one of the Rest?. But if you still want an Opinion: Stick with 2G Type-S!

 

I hate the fact that im on stock wheels, my only problem is right now those are the only 2 sets i own and i need tires now and dont have time to go look for aftermarket since I have one week with the car before leaving for college and then need to drive it 600 miles to my school and need solid tires on it

 

you in cali.. you want to buy some genesis coupe oem wheels? lol.. I JUST put them up forsale.. sadly, i don't have tires for them..


I liked rocking the 3G wheels on my 2G but it made it look like it was sitting higher..

both are nice sets.. would be nicer if the 3G oem wheels were the OEM finish

 

If ya got limited funds and wanna make do for now......go for the newer 3rd Gen's.
They sorta appear rather well and not quite as boring. But hey, it's your choice at the end of the day.

 

hey man, if u wanna go with the 3G wheels make sure u get the low profile tires and nice set of springs for perfect drop.

 

i like the 3g wheels, I'm actually looking to buy a set myself
