New Winter tires, Mind as well..

Im planning to get new tires for my 00 TL as my current ones looks like they are going bald. Since i have a 2000 TL running on my stock 16.5" rims, i wanna get tires with a 45 sidewall instead of 60, Does anyone kno if thas possible? Will it look funni considering the fact that my tires are so small? And even if it is possible, obviously the car will be dropped a little more, How much more are we talking bout? 1"? .5"? If someone can please help or some opinions, that'll be great. Thank you in advance.

You are gonna knock your speedo off a bit, it will read too fast, and pack on extra miles by just downsizing like that. Thats a big difference is the sidewall profile. The only way Id see you making that kind of move is if you upgraded to 17 inch rims with 225/45-17 inch tires.

You use this review for what tire to buy ... it hasn't been updated in close to a year though ...

If you're still on a 16" rim, keep it at stock size (ie 60 profile tire).
