New Wheels guys! ....again lol

Hey guys, been awhile since I've dropped by the board. So I'm sure everyone's pretty familiar with my wheel purchasing escapades in 2013 and I'm once again here to start off 2014 with a new set...so here's a timeline with pics of my travels (keep in mind i don't want this turning into oh replica blah blah waste of money oh blah type of conversation)

Last year at the beginning I had a set of 17"x7" + 45mm Sendel Wheels on..
New Wheels guys! ....again lol-suwpxq2.jpg

I then upgraded to an 18" x 7.5" +40mm set of Enkei RS7...
New Wheels guys! ....again lol-opr89m1.jpg

then went a bit wider with 18" x 8.5" +35mm XXR 531...
New Wheels guys! ....again lol-tgub7xp.jpg

got bored and got 18" x 8.5" +35mm Redline RD144...

wanted wider so went 18" x 9" +35mm BBS LM replicas...
Attachment 107187

had to pay bills so sold those reps and rocked factory for a bit
my girl at the time left me so repurchased 18" x 9" +38mm BBS LM replicas...
Attachment 107188

NOWWW i have a new set of lower offset 18"x9" +33mm BBS LM replicas BUT with the machined face and the story is the guys I get them from in Cali don't have these machined face in 5x114.3mm bolt pattern so I had to have them drill my pattern down from 5 x 120mm BMW they did. HOPEFULLY I am the only person rocking these in New England since I had to wait a MONTH for the machining and bolt drilling process to complete.

NEW PICS ARE BELOW SORRY FOR THE STORY OF A POST

SPECS FOR THE GEEKY:

I know! After sooooo many wheels I am happy I finally found my "favorite" wheels these look good on EVERYTHING...in my opinion. Hell these are my third set haha still trying source some ACURA center caps that will replace the "BBS" ones currently on so I don't look like a total doofus

Is it me or do they look weird? Are the wheels only machined on the face and black on the inside of the spokes?

Yup, the lips are polished, the face is machined, and the inside is black

Peewizzle, the wheel whore !!!
The new BBS LM rep rims look awesome on your TL, and so did the last ones.....IMO.

Thanks for sharing your new spring look with us.
Hope these rims are able to wear out a set of tires, before being replaced again.

Some people are sooo lucky... I have almost 7 years with my Current ENKEIs... But I would literally sell my body if I could afford an ORIGINAL set of BBS LMs..

ahh, well they'd look better if the black wasn't there, other than that they look good.

Skirmich, you might as well get RPF1's or even NT03's since you're all about performance and maintenance.

HAHA I KNOW! my ex and all my friends cannot stop talking smack about me and wheels. The last few sets of I've rocked barely saw any tread wear on whichever tires I mounted. As of leaving work right now these new rubbers have about 24 miles on them and I'm sure these won't be the only wheels they'll be mounted on this year...we will see how I feel come April if I have the wheel'itis again

7 years with one set of wheels...I can't imagine that! lol but I would LOVE to own a REAL set of BBS LM but alas, I simply cannot justify the value of those wheels being the same value as the car though. Last time I checked, it was $925 EACH for BBS LM in the specs I have now

Yeah I think the black interior would look better on a darker color but we will see if I stick around with these :P

I knowwwwww I've been trying to find ACURA emblem center caps to fit in place of them for awhile but I can't seem to source 65mm ACURA caps anywhere. Let me know if anyone has any ideas

wider is better in my opinion, I kinda wish I didn't waste so much time messing around with smaller widths but live and learn!!

I want 18" x 10" next but ehhhhh I'm very scared about offset and fitment, I'm only slightly rolled

I don't dig too much the RPF1s because they dont look good at 18" but if I had BBK I would see those NT03s as an option.. Right know I'm in love with the RAZRs just because I can easily afford them in the near future and I dig 5 spoke wheels:

Yeah they are pretty lunatic with those prices but ORIGINALs can wear the BBS badge with honor... Having fake wheels with BBS badge on replicas is well, not my thing :/ I even have my Acura covers on my ENKEIs they fit like champ.

Depending on who makes them id rock the center caps they came with or the ones that company makes for them. Some replica companies Id rep all day while others Id be embarrassed to represent. haha

Maybe roll down to a local tire shop and see if they have any "blanks" that will fit. Often times companies like Konig use blank caps that come with stickers that say konig. Toss the stickers and use the blank caps.
