New rims - Enkei RZ-5s

Hey all, just got new rims Thursday morning, they are 18x8.5 Enkei RZ-5s with a +42 offset. Not even close to rubbing with 225/40/18 Nitto NT 555 tires. I like them a lot, but I was really thinking that the rims weren't going to be more of a gunmetal, more black than they are. But they definately look nice, although I really want to drop it now bad because it still looks like I'm sitting pretty high up. Going from stock to this setup makes a world of a difference in handling, I've never had rims this size or tires like this on my Prelude, and it changes things a lot more than I thought they would.

Anyway, here are some pictures, I'll have to get some better ones once I get more time/wash the car.

Nice rim although I'm not too hot on the really dark wheel on an SSM.

BTW, with that rim width and offset, I bet $$ to donuts you're gonna rub when you drop.

Good luck.

Nice wheels, but the width and the offset of those rims makes it look like putting on 04+ TL wheels on a 2nd gen TL look like nothing. They stick out way too much.

Its actually HM, I will get some better pics later today. The colors do kinda look odd with eachother, but once I'm done with cosmetics, it will flow a lot better. I have a plan, I just need to keep saving up the money to get it done. Thanks for the comments though.

If you drop the car, you are going to rub for sure even with 225-40-18's.

I think your offset is too aggressive for the TL.
