Neuspeed Strut Bar. And your opinions on strut bars in general.

Hi guys, i have recently picked up a set of Eibach Pro springs, didn't have the time nor the money to install them yet but i will be doing that next week. The quote for 4 springs and 1OEM strut (don't ask lol) was $250, which is quite decent in my opinion.
Anyways back to the point of the thread. I have an opportunity to buy neuspeed a front strut/sway bar. The guy lives like 5 mins away, so thats not an issue at all, the price isn't either because he wants $75 for it. I have heard and read about the huge difference on handling that the rear sways provide, the front not so much (that is, i dont know too much about them). Well, to me the stock bar's thickness and quality looks similar to the aftermarket 1 that i am talking about. Is there truly a difference in the handling after the install of this part.

I am looking to do this upgrade for 3 reasons:
1. it is inexpensive
2. doing little work here and there on my car became a hobby that i enjoy, like for most of us here.
3. If it in fact does improve the handling by a long shot than that is always a positive!

Thanks in Advance!

Front sway bars do improve handling. By alot.

Strut bar and sway bar are two different things. Sway bars improve handling more than the strut bar.

get progress rear sway bar because it's the thickest you can get , and doesn't really matter for the tower strut bar as it doesn't help as much just a little and more or less a bling factor.

For the price though i would just pick them up to. Also why not try to install the springs yourself and save the install money for something else? You can rent a spring compressor next to nothing at your local autozone or shucks.

Thicker isnt always better. This car really needs a front bar too. The front rolls way to much.

doing your own suspension work helps you learn about your car a lot more and its definitely cheaper than paying others.. and as far as the spring compressor, you honestly dont even "rent" the thing from autozone.. all you do is put down a deposit ($30-40) and when you are done with it, take it back and get your deposit right back.. cant beat free

Ahhh, thing is i don't really want to do the job my self, because if i screw up, there will be no one there to direct me on what to do. I haven't even ever seen a mechanic do this job(keep in mind, this is my first car). My friends are not enthusiasts like some of you guys on this forum, therefore they don't know much about this stuff either. So spending $250 is my only choice. But on the bright side, i wont have to worry about anything when they are in place.

Everyone always has the first time. Its not hard. There are DIYs. There isnt much to screw up, and if you have the patience to work thru any issuse you come to you can do it.
