i recently changed my front brake pads cause they were squeeking, but when i took them out, it kinda puzzled me on how the driver side wares down more than the passenger side?? and how come the outer pad of the driver side wares down more than the inner pad?? and now since the new pads are in its not just squeeking it also sounds like its grinding on something? Someone please help me before i go insane.

Check the calipers and flush the brake fluid.

id recomend bleeding you brakes to see if that may help. both sides should wear the same

^^ Agreed. Obviously the calipers on both sides aren't getting equal amount of pressure. Bleed it.

As for the inner and outer pads, that's because the caliper cylinder is on the outer side, and that pad touches the rotor first, then squeezes and brings in the caliper at which point the inner side pad finally starts braking.

The grinding noise is probably normal -- it's the new pads. Break them in properly and it should go away soon.

thanks guys i appreciate the help im going to get the brakes flushed out and then see how it comes out.
