lowering springs and Struts?

I have done a lot of reading here and there on lowering.
I cant seem to make up my mind on what I need to get. I have sprint springs and BYB struts on my 92 maxima and they have been on there for 5-6 years and never had problems with them. No bounce and still rides good.

I dont wana lower more then 1.5 and I would like to, some what maintain the a comfortable ride that our TL's provide
wondering what kind of springs/struts you guys have? and maybe a little feed back on them? That might help me make up my mind before I go with sprint and KYB. or anyone out there that knows more about sprint springs and KYB's?

Thanks in advance!

I ran Tokico illumina/H&R race springs on my TL and they were about as comfortable as stock. I've also heard good things about the koni yellow/Ground Control setup which is a little more pricey

it really depends on the look you are going for. Coilovers will be the best of all wolds. you can go from sporty to aggressive and back to sporty. its just a pain in the ass to adjust..... good luck though welcome to the dropped club

Gonna have to agree with the coilover route. It could cost a bit more, but just save that extra cash and invest in them. I used to do spring/shock combo, but having the ability to adjust whenever I want (ie. when in winter since this is my DD). Best bet go for Tein Basics for approx $900 if you're on a budget.

Koni/GC is prob one of the best for full slammage IMO but you'd probably spend less on Teins.

Yes they did. Type 2's are damper adjustable, the type 1's are not.

The type 2's are a drastic improvement over the 1's in the regard of ride comfort etc. I'm sure they both slam the same though. Lippstuh had/has type 2's on his I believe.

I can't seem to find a specific application for the TL, is it just an accord application you would use? Type 1s would be suitable for me but I do agree Type 2s would be a better purchase.

When I found out F2s were made by the same factory that puts out PIC I'm now more convinced to get F2s over Teins!

Yes just use the 98-02 accord application and you'll be fine. Type 1's are cheaper and would run you anywhere from $550-600 depending on where you found them. Type 2's would run you significantly more.

Great! Thanks for the confirmation. Weaksauce is selling the Type 2s for approx $200-300 more.. is it worth it due to the dampening? Any other changes?

Not happy with my height now (lowered on springs) so I want some dumpage asap! lol-
