lowering

I want to lower my 2003 tl just to get rid of the wheel gap. I installed the Eibach prokit in my previous car which was a altima with no problem keeping the stock struts. One thing i did not like was the amount of bounce the car had escpecially with like 3 to 4 people in the car.

Will I get this same bounce if i keep the stock acura struts or are they better.
If i decide on changing the struts how much would they run me about for all four a set that would be good with the prokit.
Thanks.

when i got my car it was allready lowered on acura shocks and i don't recall having alot of bounce. right now i'm lowered on H&R springs with tokico blue shocks and i have an *appropriate* amount of bounce when the car is lowered. it recovers nicely.

you should be just fine with the stock shocks, although if you have high mileage allready you may as well just go ahead and do the shocks now so you don't have to do them later, as they will not last a long time with lowering springs.

you can search around but you'll see that tokico blues are a forum favorite shock, and for good reason. they are comfortable but have a performance orientation to them, not to mention they are made for lowered vehicles.
