Looking at new wheels

How will these fit? 18x8 +45 offset. Tires 225/45/18. Lowered on Tein Street Basis. They're off a Altima SE-R, they have brand new tires and are a killer deal.
I know you're suppose to go with +48 offset for 8" wheels but could I throw on a 3mm spacer?

you'll fit fine.

stock 3rd gen TL wheels are 17x8 +45 and I seem to remember people fit those onto the 2nd gen perfectly.

if you really want to learn, head to
http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator
and input your stock wheel specs and the new wheel specs.

it'll show you what happens when more or less offset is applied

^use the tire calculator from the same website to learn about profile height vs width.

Hey Iamtorok, what brand of rims ? what do they look like ?
I guess if it's a "killer" deal, sometimes 2nd best will work, as long as they're not sloppy 2nd's.

My buddy had an Altima SE-R with new tires on it and immediately bought new wheels for it. Sold it with the aftermarket wheels a few months later and had his stock SE-R wheels in his garage. Bought them off of him for $450.

Hmmm, great deal .....very nice looking rims !!!
Most of the upgrade OEM wheels are well built and have enhanced styling.

When ya get them installed, show us a pic of the total package.
