Red face KYB AGX adjustable

So Im going to be upgrading my suspension... basically because the stock suspension is finally starting to give out. But now I have a question... maybe a dumb one but Im new to this kind of stuff lol so be kind

I do want to drop my car at some point... so my question now is if I do get the KYB AGX adjustable shocks can I still use coilovers with them? And if so whats the best springs that will be compatible and not burn a hole in my pocket?

do not get those sleeve coilovers that are real cheap on ebay, they are junk...you have to get a coilover like tanabe, tein, or ksport... my buddy had the agx on his old si, they were pretty nice...not alot of ppl have the agx here, more go for the tokico or koni yellows..

I would get the springs while you're doing the shocks or you will do the labor twice. TOKICO HPs don't have damping adjustment but they are a great shock to pair with lowering springs.

definently a better price on the TOKICO HPs but will the ride quality be the same? I want to drop the car without destroying the ride quality (obviously its not so good right now since my suspension is going lol but close to stock would be ideal)

Ride quality all depends on what suspension you get. Most of them when paired right will offer near stock quality. Ride shouldnt suffer just because you lower it a little bit.

I've got the AGX's on my 02 TL-S and the ride is a little rough compared to stock. I haven't got them set on the softest setting but pretty close.
