ksports are like.. stiff... or so i've heard. they go lower and stiffer than Tein SS

tein ss are more road friendly in a way and don't go so low unless you get different springs rates. if you live in a bumpy area, maybe the SS might come in handy with the dampening adjustment but if you don't and its mostly all smooth road. i'd just save yourself some money and get basics.

if you only want to just lower it, i'd go Basics. they do the job and won't lose comfort.

Lower, short term, not wanting to spend a lot, longevity or resale is not a goal: Ksports

Higher quality, last much longer, can be rebuilt, can use the EDFC: Tein SS

I find that people who spend a little extra for better parts don't have regrets, while some that spend less in the name of performance on paper tend to be disappointed more often.

if you tell us why you want coilovers we can give you an answer. we're not mind readers and one coilover may not neccessarily be better than the other. Only one will suit your wants/needs/desires...

So you're saying you want a smooth ride, but also stiff for corners? I don't think you can have both. maybe you can get the Tein SS and adjust the dampenings to make it stiffer, but it won't be like K-Sports.

Don't buy Ksports if you want a smooth ride. Ksports are extremely stiff, and that's not an exaggeration. They will make your car handle very well but at a cost.

Buy TEINs if you want a smooth ride and a moderate drop. If you search you can probably find pictures of someone dropped to the lowest settings on TEINs.

I've had the following suspension setups and recommend all of them EXCEPT Ksports.

H&R + Stock shocks (soft + bouncy)
Ksports (Good handling, way to stiff)
Apexi N1 Coilovers (Perfect!)

i think its better if u go with ss, i have the ksport's but im planning to sell them cause they are WAY to stiff.

i might go with tein basic or ss not sure yet, but does anyone know if the tein ss is way more comfortable then the ksport or the difference isn't alot?

K Sports are a track inspired suspension. If you want a comfortable ride stay away from them. While they do offer more adjustability at less of a cost than TEIN, TEIN is higher quality and is better for a daily driver.

But If you don't care for adjustability,

I'd recommend Bilsteins on some H&R sports.

Smooth ride but can still perform great.

then Just buy a rear sway bar and enjoy the ride even if it's your daily.

Yes... and No. Stiff suspension will only improve handling so much. If you're looking for better handling get sway bars and go from there.

Actually stiffer suspension would actually increase the need for strut braces also.
