just put oem wheels back on

to be honest, i dont think i'll be going back to 18's or bigger!!!!

the ride with the 16's is so much better, much more luxury than on the 18's.

nice soft ride, i like it, maybe OEM 17's next summer but i dont think i'll go bigger!!!

anybody else feel that way????

The ride is nice, but my 19s will be back in the spring for sure. No doubt about it.

I would sacrifice a little bit of comfort for 18's or 19's

I'm big on ride quality/comfort. Some larger wheels can still be comfortable, but when you get up there in size it's hard. OEM TL/CL-S rims look really nice, or you can go with an aftermarket 17.

im thinkin maybe some 17's at most, but well see once spring rolls around.

you know the funny thing is, aperson buys an acura and by the time your done with all the mods, its not really an "acura anymore"

bigger rims
change suspension (most likely slammin the car)
any performance upgrades
even interior audio chages

by the time its all said and done the car is nothing like it was supposed to be.

now im not sayin thats a bad thing!!! to each his own!!

but for me, i cant imagine drivin this car slammed with 19's or 20's, especially here where i live in buf ny

Maybe try a better tire on your 18? What size are you running?

I'm rocking my Oem 17's Type-S wheels. I love the smoothness of the ride and I'm in N.Y.C and these potholes here will kill your wheels FAST. If I were in a warmer state w/nicer roads then I will go up to 19's, but I'm good w/my OEM wheels.

^^ that'll do too. Changing your tail lights to the 02-03 will look better also.

i know im in the minority on this one but i think the yellow/red rear lights look better on my car.

the 02-03 tails look nice on WDP and SSM or NBP but the monterey blue pearl looks better with original tails.

plus my car has some gold lettering, matches the yellow on the tails

I live in Buffalo too, and I totally understand what you mean about upgrading wheels. I upgraded to 18s and dropped the car on H&R sport springs w/ Konis and it was definitely different ride. Granted that maybe a result of the suspension upgrade as well.

Get the adjustable shocks such as Teins SS which allow you to adjust the ride quality and lower the car at the same time! Ride is much better and very close to stock with 19" plus looks much better when lower.

i agree. if you go with the appropriate suspension setup, your ride with be very comparable to stock. before you believe what someone says about a harsh ride and such, take a look at their suspension first. if you're lowered on stock shocks with crappy tires, of course it'll be bouncy. i'm a firm believer of NOT cheaping out on suspension and tires.

Yeah I miss my 19"s, I only used them for about 2 weeks. I admit the stocks do ride better and I can drive without being so careful but the 19"s are they way to go and I'll sacrifice comfort for the look I get with the TSWs...

I struggle with this all the time. I just moved to ATL from Colorado and I am excited to know I can run my 19s all year round now down here, but since I have been on my chrome stock 17's since October and during my move to the south, I am really enjoying the smooth ride the stocks provide..but, the 19s are way to fresh for me not to put them on again and play the pothole dance again...luckily, I'm learning the streets here and starting to figure out the right lane is not where I want to be with the gutters and sunken manholes...damn those suck when you hit em

I've been pondering getting some 18s but just can't make up my mind. I have OEM chrome 16s and the ride is bad enough with the roads down here, I can't imagine how bumpy 18s would be. I love the manholes that stick out of the road some 4 inches.

True, I meant comfort as the comfort of driving without worrying so much.

Well, if you can't decide whether to put 19s on with Tien SS (or similar adjustable springs/shocks) then find some one here in Azine that lives near your place and request for a test drive to see how's the ride quality is. Chance are, after you did the test drive with car that has 19s and proper suspension setup, you will shed the money and do it!
