Just purchased some new wheels

Hey guys, I just picked up a set of 18x7.5 Acura RDX rims here
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...8296&viewitem=
for the price i got them shipped I figure what the hell... so anyway I believe they fit but i read somewhere if you have brembo brakes it will not fit the offset is +55 and to my understanding the 2002 3.2tl type S doesn't have brembos and infact they don't use brembo's till the 3rd gen in 2004....

I just need someone to confirm they fit and I'm not crazy. Lol

thanks.

The offset on a 2002 tl is +55.

Not sure with the rest of the specs but I dont see why they wouldnt work. You dont have brembo brakes and yes they are on 3g.

Shouldnt have issues fitting.

Do 235/40 18's for your case with your car. Maybe less. I had a 03 CL-S6 and stock was 215/50-17 like the 2nd gen TL-S and was told that mas width at the offset my volks wer +45 (same as 3rd Gen TL) can't fit over 225 width tires. Id stay safe safe and do 225/45 or 235/40. Call Tire Rack about this or ask a local tire installer you trust about this. Other 2nd Gen TL guys with 3rd Gen TL wheels please share which size and brand tires you're running for this member. Tires are sonthing you buy for the long haul. I'd hat for you to end up with the wrong size.

Welcome to the board...

Oh you bet, i'm looking at those form & function type 2's I want dampening adjust like my tokico illumina's on my accord, but the full height adjustable is going to be great. To be honest I am not even going to throw those wheels on my car until I get the coil-overs because theres nothing I hate more than a 4x4 look.

I was wondering if I could fit a 245, but people DO NOT advise it, so 235/?/18 it will have to be.

Good idea. 235/40/18 would be the tire that would closelyu match for speedo purposes. This set-up with a flush drop (not slammed) is gonna look fantastic.
