ok when deciding to buy rims, what are things that separate companies. I was looking to get a rims for my 2000 3.2 tl. I want either 18 or 20s. Sears is selling these SSC Performance rims. The 17s are like 750 with tax included. I want to know in general besides the size and chrome what is the difference in the quality of a rim. Whats the difference between brand X and brand y. Chrome painted is different from chrome right?

i donno about chrome 17's man, if your goin with a 17 just get the Type S wheels

Are they a good quality rim.? They are being sold at sears and the guy told me cause they deal with the company direct the get them cheap. I could get 17s with tax for like 730 no tires.

 

Well the thing i would do is MAKE SURE it is the correct offset. Most of those places will tell you sizes will fit and they dont. I wouldnt go any thing lower than +45 offset min. Do your home work first know what the car needs. not what the pocket book can afford this month. If you need to save up 1 more month to get the correct size it makes all the difference.
