HFP's are coming soon.... few questions
So its getting closer and closer to HFP time got a tire question tho... i know they fit perfect (19"x8 +55) and all that... im dropped on eibachs and tokicos.....
i would like to run a 235/35/19 (either the goodyear eagle f1 all seasons or the goodyear eagle gt all seasons)... i know jitty pulled it off with the h&r's... you think the 235's will clear with the eibachs with no modifications?

Yes, the Goodyear Eagle F1 AS will perform decently in the snow. However, pure summer tires like the PS2 will have very little traction even near freezing road temperatures, let alone driving in the snow.

235s do fit, but I will say the General Exclaim UHP's I have only have about 1/8" inch of clearance on the front control arm (inner part of tire). The Exclaims are pretty squared off as the sides go to the top of the tread. It doesn't rub since that part of the suspension actually moves in line with the wheel/tire, so no worries there. My HR drop has been on for 4 years now, going on 5 and I really have no front fender gap. Eibach Pro Kit should be just fine as well
The Falken Azensis ST-115 tires have a rounded shoulder that offers a bit more clearance and 225's will certainly fit as well, but I don't think it is necessary. All tires are different and even though tire sizes are the same 235/35 etc, I would compare the actual measured dimensions of the 235/35 tires from different manufacturers on the tire manufacturer website. If they are the same specs or measure less than my General Exclaims, that should be a good reference point.
Welcome to the club, glad to finally have another 2nd Gen TL with these on...they are really going to look good on that color you have!
But, I absolutely do not rub anywhere. There is more than enough clearance on the rear to not require any fender mods. If anything, a slight fender tab trim, but I don't even think that is necessary with these HFPs. My fender tabs were already trimmed because of my older 19 wheels. Remember, as you go up in offset, the wheel is "sucked" in the fenders, not pushed outwards so your biggest area of concern is inner front clearance. I don't recommend spacers either, but that is also an option if you want a 50mm offset stance going with a 5mm spacer.
Good luck, and post pics asap!!

forgot to add:
I am extremely pleased with the General Exclaim tires I have, quiet and cut through rain very well. Plus they are considered all season, but I learned my lesson on trying to run 35 series tires in snow back in Denver, never again. The prices of the Generals are around $150 a piece and have a pretty high treadware rating. I got tons of tread left with almost a year and running hard on these tires...but I also have camber kits for maximum life FTW!

that dark gray/bronze wheel on your color is gonna look hella good, I can't wait to see them on for real..welcome to the HFP19 club my brutha!!
Glad they are OEM, some of the other wheel styles like the Type S wheels are offered in replica and OEM. I would imagine that finishlinewheels only has new ones since I can't imagine a bunch of them coming in from wrecks and being refinished, at least not in bulk just yet. I still have yet to see a 2009 Accord Coupe with these on driving around. Maybe in California there are some because down south I have not seen one.

forgot to add, if you want the A symbol center caps, you will need to order this part number x 4 (08W18-SJA-200R1) $11.99 each on acuraoemparts.com
These are the two piece center caps. The snap in "A" symbol has two posts that snap into the two holes on the gray center caps that come with the HFPs..then the backing of the "A" has 3M adhesive as well. Then, rivets snap onto the posts to hold it on tight. You will have a leftover cap and you can put the "H" symbols in that package and sell them on ebay or something, unless you decide you actually want the "H" logo for your HFPs. I swapped mine for "A".

haha, its a running joke with the ATL crew..old Uncle Jitty. I am really just 34, I just play up the old thing..plenty of folks on here older than me. But I wish I had the money you all have when I was 19 and shit..dammmm, ballin ass teenagers with your fancy cars hahahaha
Get those HFP Pics up asap..I think when you do that, it will open the flood gates on people buying these. I think they will set off any of the /white/blue/red/green TL's. I like how they flip three different colors depending on the angle and brightness of the sun. They look anthracite at dusk/night time.

thats how much i spent on my 3rd set of wheels
and no, not because im some kind of baller..
thats just what i consider a good price for an "extra" set of wheels
strong, durable, good looking wheels will normally run you well over 1k unless you get lucky

^ yea..
well, if people can look around a lot more, they can find deals on wheels..
1200 for LE37 with fresh FK452.. can't go wrong..
then you find somebody to sell them to for $1400.. then buy other wheels..
slowly upgrade wheels... next thing you kno, you have like wheels that are worth like 2 tein SS

IMO spending big $$$ on ballin wheels for a daily driver is a silly risk. JMHO..
It would KILL me to have one bend, rash, etc..probably why lots of ppl dont want to shell out the dough for them.
...ahh to be 19 again...

Yeah..I know what you mean man. Peer pressure is a biotch..lol. Back when I had my race/street car I had wheels on it that would never last on a DD. If you can, by all means rock them out. Your car definitely looks like a garage kept queen-you take good care of it and it shows.
but back on topic!!
OP: put pics up ASAP!!
