235/40/18 18x8 66.1 CB, The lugs on are car are 12x1.5 and these are 12x1.25. Guy I bought them from said I had to put 12x1.25 lugs on, so I did and when I drive I hear a terrible grinding noise coming from the wheels. It’s not rubbing or anything. I put the stock 12x1.5 on and it still makes grinding noise. I have no idea what it is does anyone know anything about Infiniti wheels on the TL?

 

did you put hubcentric rings prior to installing? You might have just bent the brake dust shield and it's rubbing on the rotor. Jack the car up and pop off the wheel and manually turn it to find where the grinding noise is coming from.

 

it’s doesn’t make a grinding noise until I put the car down and drive.
