Help On Buying Rims!

Im new to this site.. I read alot of postings but wanted a few things cleared up. I have a 1999 Acura 3.2 TL, and wanted to put either 18 or 19 inch rims on it. The ones I wanted are the ACE Arius 18 inch rims, which are 18 X 7.5. What kind of tire should I buy for this? 225/40/18, 215/35/18, 235/40/18, or 245/40/18 ?? I DONT want to shave my fenders or anything of that sort. Would 18 X 8.5 or 18 X 9.5 be better? Whats the best size of tire/rim i should get if I dont wany anythign to rub? Thanks for the help..

By the way.. i plan on lowering it with Eibach springs.. either 1.5 inch or 2 inches..

I would still stick with atleast a +45 offset even for 18 x 7.5 rims. I wouldn't go any wider than an 8" rim, especially since you plan on lowering your car and don't want to shave the tabs or roll your fenders. As far as tire widths go, I'd go with a 225 or 235 series.

playing it safe
18x7.5, 45 offset at least!
225/40 tires

18x8 with at least a 50 offset and same tires.
