H&R vs Eibach????

Hey guys i'm still try to decided if I should go with H&R sport or Eibach pro-kit? Which one will ride smoother? I know Eibach have a good name. I had a couple of car before with Eibach and I liked it. I know alot of people say go with the H&R and tokico blue on 2nd gen TL. And I know if I should get different shocks to, but my budget kind of tight right now for a set of 4 tokico. Thank-s...

I would go with the H&R Sport springs. But if you wanna go lower, then get the pro-kit.

Both are good springs, but Kris will say go with H&R's so listen to him haha.

There both good springs it all depends on what you want.

Lots of owners are running H&R with tokicos. Me myself i am either going to be running Eibach pro kit or Tein S techs. Im waiting on some PM's

I wonder how low H&R Sports would get the car on the lower perch of the Konis?

I'm wondering the same thing. I'm still on stock shocks and will putting in Koni Yellows this Spring and would like to have the wheel well gap in the front match the gap in the rear.

Oh OK, I didn't know how much the different was. So that would be about a 2.75"F/2.5"R drop...

That's a bit much for me.

Koni lower perch is 20mm lower than the "stock" perch, iirc. So a little less than an inch, about 0.8", I think.

That's more than I'd personally like in the front. Sorry for the newb question, but there's at least one "intermediate" perch, right? One or more perches between "stock" and the lowest perch?

I think its stock or lower. Nothing in between. These arent coilovers with a lot of adjustability.

Oh, I understood that. I was just wondering if there was at least one intermediate perch. Thanks.

Yeah I understand that. My Eibach 2.1"F/1.7"R drop still has about 1/2 an inch of gap all around, and that is with slightly taller 225/50 tires. I'd think that H&R Sports on the lower perch would just about tuck the wheel. But I just personally wouldn't want that low of a car for my DD.

No.

On the rear there are 3 perches: Stock and then 2 others (one above and one below, IIRC).

On the front there are 2 perches: Stock and one lower.

Yep, that's what Kris said above - only stock and one .8" lower in the front.
