A few buddies of mine have them, they say they are great tires. For the price, cant get any better. Good traction wet or dry, hard to get a squeek out of them. I plan on gettin them next week also.

I have it on right now...i think they're great tires, but others on here will tell you it's crap. I'm pretty sure there's better out there but for the price i think it's good. It has good grip, wet or dry. Good luck

Word of warning of these Falkens ... if you read the various tire forums, they are great until you reach 1/2 way through the treads. Their grip, noise levels, etc worsen significantly after that. They were rated highly by Consumers Report a couple years ago but new tires have come out since that last rating.

If you live in Quebec and drive the TL daily, you HAVE to buy snow tires. I live in southwestern Ontario and I have Nokian tires (ie ones with the snowflake on the sidewall -- rated for winter driving) on for winter and all-season Toyos for the summer.

First 6 months they were great. Then they starting making horrible road noise and the car started pulling to the right. I lived with them, but they were by far the worst tires I've ever owned on a car and I've been driving for 20 years.

Funny thing - these tires were great in Orlando (heat and sun) since I have past the 1/2 mark the tires are wearing quickly and the grip is questionable... Good for awhile, better then some, would not buy them again unless I was living in the sun...

Agreed with everyone here. They're great until you reach 1/2 point. I used to have them on my old car. So basically, great tires, just not term.

I agree... my other family car which is a 2000 TL-P had the stocks replaced with the fuzion HRI's and they are awesome for high performance all season tires.

They come with plenty of tread and the tire material is softer and much more grippier.

I'm thinking of replacing my stock tires from my TL-S with the same ones as well.

Also, they are only a few dollars more than the Falken Zeix's which means they are good for the money

Fuzion HRi = H-speed rated tires. OEM tires from Acura (Type-S model) = V-speed rated tires. For most people, you will never reach the speeds the V-speed rated tires can go where the H-speed rated tires should not.

However, reading how some like the 'sport' flavor of our cars ... try and find a V-speed rated tire with at least a 93 load rating.

IMHO, it's better to just suck it up and buy quality tires from the get-go.

Avon 550 are cheap for the class but at $100/ea they aren't exactly bargain bin. They perform well and they last . . . assuming you are properly aligned (including camber).
