Falken Torque 5's 19X7.5 +42 offset

Will they work? I keep reading soooooo much about what will and what won't work as far as offset is conscerned. But I have also found lots of pics of peeps out there with these rims on their TL's. Do these rims rub???? Anybody? Anybody? Buller? Anybody? (sorry a lil Ferris Buller humor, lol) But seriously does anyone know if these are one of the odd rims out there that is the exception to the rule of anything less than a 45 offset not working? I really do like the rims, but I won't be very happy if I pay out the a** on shipping then they rub. So please somebody, anybody........Help a brotha out!!!! LOL

Thanks bro, but I've read that 100 times. lol I know the "general rule of thumb" with the offset, but I know that there are some rims that are the exceptions to the rule. I was just wondering if the Falken Torque 5's are one of the exceptions???? But I do appreciate the insight!

Thanks Again

There will be people who say it will fit ... but despite there being measurements, there are some variations among manufacturers. A 7.5" width with +42 offset ... unless you are willing to take a chance, cut tabs / roll fenders, maybe even run a little negative camber ... it'll work.

But are you willing to live with a possible terrible fitment / rubbing / premature wear of tires? It's as simple as that.

Ballers gotta pay to play.

But by the sound of things ... look elsewhere.

Good point! I don't think it's worth that risk. I've done the whole lowering my car, riding on negative camber, tearing up tires,etc..... on my old car, and it wasn't fun. But if I get a 45 offset I should be ok,right? Like on the foose Speedsters?

Some people have the Foose rims that you've mentioned in this forum. No one's complained about fitment issues that I've seen.

Sweet! Thanks!!! Do you know of any other nice chrome 19's that would fit in the measurements by chance? I know chrome is ghetto to a lot of people on this site, but what can I say I guess I'm still a lil ghetto! LOL
