you wont' be disappointed with the sportlines - definitely the best drop for springs and the ride is pretty damn good. But it's an aggressive drop so u ready to have people looking at you with admiration? haha

You can't go wrong with eibach. Just wish they made coilovers for our cars.

I'm assuming you have a TL-S so if so there are no Eibach Sport Lines, at least according to Eibach's website. They only offer the Eibach Pro Kit. The Eibach Pro Kit has a pretty decent drop 2.1" in the front and 1.6" in the rear. If you need a set let me know or look here

The pro kit will be a better match for our cars IMO because of the lower rear we already have. The pro kit is 2.1F & 1.6R while the sport is 2.0 all around.

I don't see it under the application guide on eibach site. I was going by the sportline for the accord.

i think you'll get the correct specs if you looked at the CL-S 03 application regarding the sportlines.

I went to the application area and it only shows pro kit. It does show a sport kit for a 03 RSX, Honda, Prelude EIB-4-5440.

i believe the sportline is taken from the accord application because there is no application on the eibach website for the TL/CL. the app on autocarparts.com does have it listed under TL/CL but it is really for the accord. so for the accord, it is 2.0 all around, but for the TL/CL which are 3-400 pounds more heavy, it is a 3+ inch drop on front and a 2+ on the back.

I've definitely seen pics of the sportlines installed. It may not be marketed direcetly for TLs, but they have an app for the 6th Gen v6 Accords which is compatible with the TL.

just call eibach directly, they are wicked helpfull and then all your questions will be answered. There are sportlines for our tls, but the only part number i could find now was for the Eibach Sport-System Kit , part number 4.4140.780. Its probably taken from the accord application like a member mentioned above, but just call them and ask them about that kit and see what they say and if you can get a part number for just the springs

Trust me dude, after the Pro Kit settles it rides pretty low. Here mine is with 18's and the ProKit after it settled.

Can't go wrong with this setup!

I wonder if there's a difference between the Pro-Kit and Pro-Kit Plus? The Eibach tech just told me the car can be aligned immediately and doesn't need to settle.

pro-kit is just springs.. Pro-System kit is springs and shocks. Then theres the pro-system plus kit that is springs, shocks, front and rear sway bars.

What I meant is that the Pro-kit has a drop of 2.1/1.6 but I've heard it said that they require time to settle and someone even said it drops more than that.

The Eibach tech claimed that the Pro-System did not require time to settle. In fact, he implied that Pro-kit springs alone don't need time to settle.

I misspoke in mentioning the Plus since the sways should have no effect whatsoever.

the eibachs for sure settle some more after you install them. the day you install till 4 or 5 months later they settle quite a bit. eibach tells you they don't need to settle because they are trying to imply that their springs won't change on ya. they do though because i had to get a second alignment about a year down the road because they settled more than the first alignment at 3 months.

Would the Pro-kit provide an even drop all around with the '99? I'm tired of the H-Techs giving me an uneven drop, the rear's lower and the front's still got the 3 finger gap.

My local shop says that's not a function of the springs. He says that's a function of the OEM rubber bushing(?). In essence, the previous setup is molded somewhat by the previous spring set so it takes some amount of time (or driving) to get the new springs to settle into the rubber. My shop gave an estimate of 100-200 miles.

So Eibach could be correct in that the spring doesn't change with time.

most likely not. any springs ive had on either of my cars always resulted in an uneven looking drop. the car might be lowered evenly, but cause of the shape of the fenders, or something like that... it looks uneven. that too really bothered me, which was one of the reasons i went with coilovers.

okay, coilovers are the way to go then.. I'll definitely look into a few sets on ebay By any chance, with the coilovers, when you're riding really low, do your front wheels ever run against the fender while turning over a nasty bump? Just want to make sure I have an idea of what I'm in store for.

yea, sometimes it happens. not very bad though... just enough to rub the plastic fender lining. usually only if i have the wheel turned all the way and im going over a bump or down a driveway. other than that, i only rub when i take a real hard turn and the rears hit. i just havent had a chance to grind down the tabs all the way. but if you have stock wheels, you wont have a clearance issue at all. its just that im running 225/45's on a 18x7.5+48 wheel.
